I just hate how desensitized we have become to massacres like this. School shootings. This is a tragedy. 17 innocent people killed by one person? Once again, with an AR-15, a weapon that is not used for hunting/sport, whose sole purpose is to kill people as efficiently as possible. Mental health is a problem, but a kid with a knife or a pistol cannot kill as many innocents as a kid with an assualt rifle. Thoughts and prayers mean nothing if you don’t care about preventing future tragedies. #guncontrolNOW

@saltyasslesbian, you have no idea what the fuck you’re even talking about.  We’re over here in the real world.  Please join us.  The AR-15 is quickly becoming the most popular rifle in America for both shooting competitions such as 3 Gun and for hunting for animals all the way from prairie dogs to feral hogs.

What you’re saying is simply false and really highlights your ignorance.

The wording in the OP sounds really familiar. I think there is a template for AR-15 posts and they just change the stats for the latest news story.

Also, for awhile Virginia Tech shooting at one point had the highest number of fatalities and was committed with two handguns and restricted capacity magazines.

There have also been knife attacks in China and other parts of the world with very high casualty numbers.

Literally everything OP is saying here is pure bullshit.
